Moving process

• Your home will be checked throughout before the movers take the items to your new home, or our secure storage centre.

• When we have arrived at your new destination, our movers will unload the boxes and furniture into the rooms of your new home.

Our removal team will have worked hard during the day so that you don't have to.

There are a few tasks which are your responsibility on moving day, unless you have arranged for us to do these.

 

• Dismantle self-assembly furniture, take down curtains, fixtures and fittings.
   

• Strip the beds. Keep the linen in a box that travels with you, or ask us to mark the box clearly with the contents.

• Mark one box DO NOT MOVE for personal effects.
   

• Take care of your plants. Wrap them in newspaper to protect them from draught and stop the leaves from bruising. Once in a new place, stand them in the warm and don't unwrap until activity has finished and the doors are closed.
